Quick Wire Connector™ (Backplate) with Single Pole Simple Rocker Switch
Deako’s faceplates and backplates are specifically designed for all Deako switches and come ready to install in your home. The faceplate can easily be removed to click switches in and out of the backplate, allowing for flexibility in switch placement.
The Quick Wire Connector™ (Backplate) dramatically decreases installation time with stab-in wire terminals.
The rocker switch can easily be changed out to upgrade to a Deako smart product without needing to call an electrician or turn the power off.

Does Deako require any special wiring?
No, Deako Connectors™ (backplates) work with existing wires in your home. Deako smart products do require a neutral wire which is common in any home built in the US or Canada within the past 40 years.
What if I have multiple switches side-by-side?
When multiple switches sit beside each other, this is called a multi-gang. We support 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5-gang configurations. Use the drop-down menu on the Deako Store to select the correct number of gangs for your home.
Can Quickwire Connectors™ (backplates) be used on a multiway with Wired Connector™ (backplates)?
Yes, Quickwire Connectors™ (backplates) and Wired Connectors™ (backplates) can be used on the same multiway. Check out wiring diagrams for multiways here.
