Quick Wire Connector™ (Backplate) & Faceplate with Single-Pole Simple Rocker Switch
Deako’s faceplates and Connectors™ (backplates) are specifically designed for all Deako switches and come ready to install in your home. The faceplate can easily be removed to click switches in and out of the Connector™ (backplate), allowing for flexibility in switch placement.
Installation is quick and easy with the use of push-in wire connectors on the rear of the Connector™ (backplate). Compatible with all NEC compliant light circuit wiring such as single-pole, 3-way, and 4-way configurations.
The Quick Wire Connector™ (Backplate) dramatically decreases installation time with stab-in wire terminals.
The rocker switch can easily be changed out to upgrade to a Deako smart product without needing to call an electrician or turn the power off.

Does Deako require any special wiring?
No, Deako Connectors™ (backplates) work with existing wires in your home. Deako smart products do require a neutral wire which is common in any home built in the US or Canada within the past 40 years.
What if I have multiple switches side-by-side?
When multiple switches sit beside each other, this is called a multi-gang. We support 1, 2, 3, 4-gang configurations.
Can Quick Wire Connector™ (Backplates) be used on a multiway with Wired Connectors™ (Backplates)?
Yes, Quick Wire Connectors™ (Backplates) and Wired Connectors™ (Backplates) can be used on the same multiway. Check out wiring diagrams for multiways here.
