Quick Wire Connector (Backplate) & Faceplate with Single-Pole Simple Rocker Switch
Deako’s faceplates and Connectors (backplates) are specifically designed for all Deako switches and come ready to install in your home. The faceplate can easily be removed to click switches in and out of the Connector™ (backplate), allowing for flexibility in switch placement.
Installation is quick and easy with the use of push-in wire connectors on the rear of the Connector (backplate). Compatible with all NEC compliant light circuit wiring such as single-pole, 3-way, and 4-way configurations.
The Quick Wire Connector (Backplate) dramatically decreases installation time with stab-in wire terminals.
The rocker switch can easily be changed out to upgrade to a Deako smart product without needing to call an electrician or turn the power off.

Does Deako require any special wiring?
No, Deako Connectors™ (backplates) work with existing wires in your home. Deako smart products do require a neutral wire which is common in any home built in the US or Canada within the past 40 years.
What if I have multiple switches side-by-side?
When multiple switches sit beside each other, this is called a multi-gang. We support 1, 2, 3, 4-gang configurations.
Can Quick Wire Connector (Backplates) be used on a multiway with Wired Connectors (Backplates)?
Yes, Quick Wire Connectors (Backplates) and Wired Connectors (Backplates) can be used on the same multiway. Check out wiring diagrams for multiways here.
