Quick Wire Backplate & Faceplate with Single-Pole Simple Rocker Switch
Deako’s faceplates and backplates are specifically designed for all Deako switches and come ready to install in your home. The faceplate can easily be removed to click switches in and out of the backplate, allowing for flexibility in switch placement.
Installation is quick and easy with the use of push-in wire connectors on the rear of the backplate. Compatible with all NEC compliant light circuit wiring such as single-pole, 3-way, and 4-way configurations.
The Quick Wire Backplate dramatically decreases installation time with stab-in wire terminals.
The rocker switch can easily be changed out to upgrade to a Deako smart product without needing to call an electrician or turn the power off.

Does Deako require any special wiring?
No, Deako backplates work with existing wires in your home. Deako smart products do require a neutral wire which is common in any home built in the US or Canada within the past 40 years.
What if I have multiple switches side-by-side?
When multiple switches sit beside each other, this is called a multi-gang. We support 1, 2, 3, 4-gang configurations.
Can Quick Wire Backplates be used on a multiway with wired backplates?
Yes, Quick Wire Backplates and wired backplates can be used on the same multiway. Check out wiring diagrams for multiways here.
